I had known who these two were for a couple years – I had photographed their friends’ wedding – Kelsey and Mitch! I remember Brigette being SO freaking hilarious and such a bright positive light! The chemistry between these two has stayed with me to this day. During Kelseys bouquet toss, Brigette caught it! And during the garter toss – Taylor caught it! Kelsey told me this is so great because “they’ve been together forever and we really want them to get married, already!” OBVIOUSLY the universe was like yep!

Then I got that email – they’re getting married and want ME to be their photographer!! UM, YES ABSOLUTELY!! A true honor!

Brigette and Taylor chose Downtown Denver, Colorado for their engagement session. I absolutely LOVE downtown Denver for its urban vibes and history. I love shooting downtown because its a change of pace from the traditional mountain engagements – which are gorgeous! But theres just something about the vibe and hustle and bustle of the city!
