I have been sick all week with a nasty cold AND double ear infection! Man, I swear when it rains it pours! Regardless of not being able to hear hardly anything I was determined to get some shots with my daughter. As a photographer I am hardly ever in front of the camera. This sucks a lot because I want to be in our photo albums, too! Especially on a day likes Mothers Day. Its a day for me and my baby .. but I’m not in any of the photos unless their selfies 😉 HAHA.

Luckily for me, my incredible husband is available to act as my human tripod! I dial in the correct settings for our shoot and tell him where to stand and what to do. He’s a really great student! And while this is so perfect and ideally I should now be able to be in all photos that couldn’t be further from the truth. Because I have a 3 year old. Having her sit with me and take photos with me is like asking her to take cough medicine! Not to mention we were at grandmas house AKA her BFF! <3 When grandma is around I could jump off a cliff and she couldn’t care less! Something about grandmas, man!

After some convincing (and bribing.. lots and lots of bribing with candy and cheesecake) she came and sat with me!
