My sister in law had been talking about how her boyfriends family were about to expect their first grandchild – a baby girl! Naturally I was thrilled and jumped at the opportunity to provide them with gorgeous newborn portraits! When Emma came in for her session I could not get over how much of a doll she was! She was a perfect two weeks old with the fullest head of hair! Ive said this many times – every baby is different. The ideal time to book your newborns session is between 5 and 10 days old. This is to ensure the sleepy, squishy baby shots that we all know and love. It also makes it easier for me as a photographer. Im always a tiny bit worried when a newborn comes in older than 10 days but every time my nerves have gone away.

The same was with Emma. She was a little dream! The sleepiest little girl!

I am SO excited to work with this family again and I cannot wait to see her grow up in front of my lens!
