I love doing weddings. Theres something so special being a part of a couples special day together. Every wedding is different, as well! Some brides are crazy stressed out (like me!) while others, like Helen, were cool as a cucumber! When I walked in to Helens hotel room I was overwhelmed at the calmness of everyone! Majority of the time everyone is stressed out and running around like its the end of the world. These girls were totally chill and ready for anything! I loved it! There was so much good, positive energy going on. Helen had a great support system with her bridesmaids. I went to go get some shots of the guys getting ready and it was the same thing! SO CALM!

I think thats what happens when two people are just meant to be. Why be so nervous? Why stress out? You’re marrying your best friend! Whats the worst that could happen?!

Their day was beautiful. It had just snowed a couple days before their October wedding so driving in to Frisco the mountains were gorgeously blanketed in snow but it was warm! It couldn’t have been more beautiful outside.

Their ceremony was filled with family and friends and their pastor spoke beautiful words about their marriage. Id be lying if I said I didn’t shed a tear! They sealed the deal with the sweetest kiss and hug! <3

We drove the Lake Dillion to take some photos of the bridal party. It was flooded with sunlight and provided a warm setting for them with the perfect snowcapped mountain backdrop.

The reception was gorgeous with red tones and a subtle fall theme. Look at that cake!! I love the tree design in it. Totally rustic without being RUSTIC. And the cookie cutter and instructions? Such a great idea!
